Community safety and well-being takes hard work and collaboration. That's why the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) and our police organizations work with the Government of Ontario, community organizations and businesses to promote Crime Prevention Week across the province. Together, we are preventing crimes and protecting people.
Crime Prevention Week 2021
The week of November 7 to 13, 2021 has been designated Crime Prevention Week in Ontario. Crime Prevention Week provides an opportunity to showcase the successful collaborative efforts between police services and community organizations as they work towards the common goal of preventing crime and creating safe, resilient communities across Ontario.
This year’s provincial theme, "Safer Communities, Stronger Ontario", enables police services to promote the benefits of a holistic community approach to addressing local crime and issues related to safety and well-being.
We look forward to showcasing all of the fantastic police service initiatives that will be a taking place across the province.
