An Anti-Racism Working Group is currently engaged with all OACP committees to develop practical ways in which the OACP can address negative systemic issues within policing. The OACP will advocate with the government and support police services in developing improved standardized training in the area of anti-racism training. To that end, the OACP Board of Directors has authorized a working group to develop standardized training to be offered to police services across Ontario beginning in the fall of 2022.
