The Dawn of a New CSPA

After years of consultation and discussion, the Community Safety and Policing Act (CSPA) and its regulations are set to come into force on April 1, 2024. While some might consider this the end of a long road, police leaders know that the work to make the legislation work well for our communities and police members now begins. That’s why we provided all police services with key messages on the CSPA to guide discussions with police services, associations, media, and the public we serve.
