The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) partners with the Journal of Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) to provide our members with access to outstanding academic resources. The Journal is pleased to announce that a special issue dedicated to the research derived from the Envisaging the Future (EtF) project will be published in the summer of 2022. Published in partnership with the Global Law Enforcement and Public Health Association (GLEPHA) and Guest edited by Prof. Nick Crofts (Honorary Professorial Fellow, School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne, Australia) and Marc Krupanski (Director for Criminal Justice, Arnold Ventures, USA), this issue will explore progressive community safety strategies worldwide and feature researchers from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, North America, and Western Europe.
Publication of this special issue is made possible because of the support received from Deloitte Inc. Thank you for your support in bringing this important and timely research from the EtF project to a global audience and for helping to share knowledge that will impact and improve approaches to community safety and well-being worldwide.
More information on this special issue will be available in future editions of The Dispatch and through the Journal’s Twitter and LinkedIn accounts—stay tuned!
