The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, June 12 in London, ON. This year, five resolutions were passed:
- RESOLUTION 2024-01 - Community Safety and Policing Act (CSPA) Implementation Costs
- RESOLUTION 2024-02 - Combatting Motor Vehicle Theft and Organized Crime
- RESOLUTION 2024-03 - Financial Resources for Integrated Mobile Crisis Response Teams (MCRT) in Ontario
- RESOLUTION 2024-04 - Improving Police Hospital Transitions: Place of Examination and timely access to care under the Mental Health Act
- RESOLUTION 2024-05 - Improving Police Hospital Transitions: Equitable care for those apprehended under the Mental Health Act who experience substance use disorder or intoxication.
