OACP, Cambridge, New Jersey Chiefs & Evidence-Based Policing

In February 2021, the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) partnered with the Cambridge Centre for Evidence-Based Policing (CCEBP) to deliver a very successful virtual conference on evidence-based policing (EBP). The three-day conference offered police personnel an opportunity to learn more about EBP, how it can benefit police organizations, and how we can empower police personnel at all levels of our services to use EBP concepts to deliver better and more effective law enforcement services to our communities.

The OACP and CCEBP are pleased to be working with the New Jersey State Chiefs of Police Association on another virtual conference scheduled for February 15 to 17, 2022. We plan on featuring some outstanding speakers from Great Britain, Canada, and the United States, including working police professionals and academics who are engaged in projects which are making a real difference for police services in these jurisdictions.
