(Toronto, ON) – The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) and The Journal of Community Safety and Well-Being (JCSWB) are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership which will promote leading-edge academic research and innovations in Ontario and Canada.
Building on its mandate to provide Ontario police leaders and law enforcement personnel with opportunities to share new academic research and ideas, the OACP welcomes the breadth of the Journal’s scholarly research and will develop an education gateway for its members to access relevant academic research and information while supporting the goals of the province’s Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) legislation.
This exciting partnership will begin with the following:
- Banner ad exchanges on the respective websites
- Announcements in e-newsletters (The OACP Round Up and The Dispatch) and on the Journal site
- Collaboration on on-going social media announcements
The partnership is designed to increase awareness for the respective activities by highlighting relevant information to the two organizations’ shared communities of police and public safety practitioners, researchers, and stakeholders.
