Nominate a Hero Today

As part of our Heroes Beyond the Badge program, the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) has honoured some of Ontario policing’s unsung heroes since 2021. The OACP and OnStar Canada has partnered to recognize the often-unsung heroes within Ontario police services for their work. The Heroes Beyond the Badge program showcases excellence in policing that goes beyond the individual or team’s duties – in other words, going beyond the badge. We are grateful that OnStar Canada, a subsidiary of General Motors that provides subscription-based communications, in-vehicle security, emergency services, hands-free calling, turn-by-turn navigation, and remote diagnostics systems, is committed to recognizing our police personnel through the Heroes Beyond the Badge program.   

Police personnel in Ontario are invited to nominate an individual or team within their organization (or another police service). Simply email Pat Kealey at pkealey@oacp.ca with the name of the individual/team you believe deserves to be recognized, providing a short description about them, their work/project, etc.
