Human Trafficking Prevention Seminar: Register Now
The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) has proudly partnered with the African Canadian Cultural Council Foundation (A3CF) and Indo-Canadian Cultural Association of Durham (ICCAD), to host a Human Trafficking Prevention Seminar on July 23, 2022.
The DRPS Human Trafficking Unit and the Children at Risk of Exploitation Unit (C.A.R.E) will provide information on human trafficking in Durham Region. Victim Services of Durham Region will also be presenting on human trafficking prevention, awareness, and intervention.
Topics covered will include:
- Breaking down the myths and helping attendees understand what human trafficking is and how it happens
- The warning signs and red flags of human trafficking and how it can be prevented
- Tips on supporting those who have been the victims of human trafficking
- A live Q&A session
