Congratulations to our Executive Director, Jeff McGuire, who has extended his contract with the OACP for another two years! The Board of Directors’ Executive unanimously approved the renewal.
“Jeff has served for more than four decades in policing. During this time, he has always brought a passion and commitment to serving police professionals and the communities we serve,” said OACP President Chief Antje McNeely. “In his long and distinguished career with the Toronto Police Service, the Niagara Regional Police Service, and with the OACP, Jeff has always been dedicated to bringing positive solutions to often complex challenges facing our profession. We look forward to the continuation of Jeff’s exceptional leadership in providing a voice for Ontario’s Police leaders.”
Jeff McGuire started his role as Executive Director with the OACP in 2018. He began his career with the Toronto Police Service (TPS) in 1977. When he retired from the TPS in 2012 to assume his role as Chief of Police for the Niagara Regional Police Service, he was the Acting Deputy Chief of Police, Specialized Operations, overseeing 19 specialized units with over 2,300 employees and a $232 million budget.
