The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) was pleased to host two important training sessions during the past two weeks.
The 2023 Drug Recognition and Enforcement Conference took place from September 27to 28, 2023, at the Toronto Congress Center. It brought together road safety professionals from across Canada and featured experts in drug and alcohol-impaired driving detection and prosecution. Speakers covered topics regarding current drug trends, drug impairment and vision, legal updates, and toxicology trends and issues. Thank you to our conference sponsors:

The OACP was also pleased to hold an Expert Witness Symposium on October 3 and 4 in Aurora, ON. This event provided crucial training for subject matter specialists to support complex criminal investigations.
