Changes to Police Ceremony of Remembrance

Due to the Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, the Ontario Police Memorial Foundation (OPMF) Ceremony of Remembrance has had to be further scaled back on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. The original intent was for police services across Ontario to provide still photography or pre-recorded videos honouring the ceremony, so they could be incorporated during the broadcast.

While the ceremony will still pay tribute to fallen officers during a 15-minute broadcast on social media, police services have been asked to post videos and photos on their own social media platform(s) with the hashtag #HeroesInLife, which will be retweeted and liked by the  Foundation (@HeroesinLife).
