2024 Crime Prevention Week

Community safety and well-being takes hard work and collaboration. That's why the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) and our police organizations work with the Government of Ontario, community organizations and businesses to promote Crime Prevention Week across the province. Together, we are preventing crimes and protecting people. 

Crime Prevention Week 2024

This year, the week of November 3 to 9, 2024 has been designated Crime Prevention Week in Ontario.

The 2024 theme is “Awareness in Action: Keeping Ontario Safe Together". Crime Prevention Week provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the successful collaborative efforts between police services and community organizations as they work towards the common goal of preventing crime and creating safe, resilient communities across Ontario.

The OACP is looking forward to showcasing all of the fantastic police service initiatives that will be a taking place across the province.
