Thank you to all Ontario police services who showed during Crime Prevention Week (#CPWeek2021) that our police personnel are always ready to lead the way to safer and healthier communities when it comes to crime prevention.
Chief Gary Conn, President of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP), kicked off the Provincial Crime Prevention Week on November 7, 2021, by noting that, “No one chooses to be a victim of crime. But when crime happens, it hurts. Especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s important to reflect on what’s important to us, our families, and our communities. Crime Prevention Week is an opportunity for everyone to focus on preventing crime wherever we live in Ontario.”
Police across Ontario did a fantastic job in promoting crime prevention, sharing tips, and engaging with Ontarians. Thank you to the Ministry of the Solicitor General for partnering with the OACP to make this year’s provincial Crime Prevention week a big success!
