Welcome Solicitor General Michael Kerzner!

Premier Doug Ford named a new Ontario Cabinet, including a new Solicitor General, the Honourable Michael Kerzner. OACP President Chief Nishan Duraiappah has already had a couple of conversations with the new Solicitor General to discuss issues of importance to the police community in Ontario. We look forward to working with the Minister and his team at the Ministry.

The OACP also works closely with other Ministers, such as the Attorney General (the Honourable Doug Downey) and Transportation Minister (the Honourable Caroline Mulroney) return to their previous portfolios).

The OACP would also like to congratulate former Solicitor General Sylvia Jones on her appointment as Minister of Health and Deputy Premier.
