Have you checked out the new articles on our HQ Magazine Hub? The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) has developed its HQ AnswerApps Digital Magazine system, a mobile, responsive version created by AnswerApps featuring articles from HQ Magazine and other digital articles from police personnel and organizations on some of the most exciting and innovative initiatives from police professionals across our province.
HQ magazine is following the trend, and the user shift to mobile, which provides better access to content, makes it easier to share and enjoy – a better solution for readers and a better solution for stakeholders. That’s what the AnswerApps system provides.
HQ’s digital edition is available at HQ Magazine HUB (fthinker.ca) Go to the website today. You’ll find all the articles from the most recent as well as past issues as well as new articles.
OACP members, researchers, academics, policy makers, and other partners: submit short articles that will be published each month and highlighted on the website.
Similar to submissions for the HQ Magazine, if you are interested in writing an article for our digital version, the subject of your article must be relevant to contemporary policing and be of importance to Ontario’s police leaders and police personnel. This can include new innovative projects and practices from your police organization, emerging academic research, commentary on current and emerging issues impacting policing, etc.
Proposals (maximum 150 words) can be submitted via email to (jcouto@oacp.ca).
We will continue to publish our full HQ Magazine twice annually – in the summer and winter. But HQ AnswerApps Digital Magazine provides police personnel and organizations in Ontario with opportunities to publish short, informative articles throughout the year.
For more information on how you can publish your articles on our digital platform, please contact José Luís (Joe) Couto, Director of Government Relations and Communications, at (jcouto@oacp.ca).
