COYO 2023 Conference

The Committee of Youth Officers for the Province of Ontario (COYO) is excited to host an upcoming conference on February 22-24, 2023, in Niagara Falls. The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) is pleased to assist the planners of the COYO conference by making our members aware of this learning opportunity.

The main objectives for COYO and the conference are:

• to promote a closer liaison on youth issues between our members’ respective organizations,
• to promote the exchange of information and best practices between youth officers in Ontario, and
• to enhance and promote closer working relationships between police, educators, and youth service workers (in the government and private sector), and to act as a resource to government agencies that have a mandate to protect at-risk youth.
