The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police’s (OACP) Board of Directors will meet on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 in Thunder Bay, ON. OACP members can always access out Board agendas on the OACP website (members must log-in) and follow our meeting on Twitter via the hashtag #OACPBoD.

Happy Labour Day!

The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) wishes all law enforcement personnel throughout the province a very happy and safe Labour Day! Let’s all take time to reflect and appreciate the amazing work our frontline, supervisory, civilian, and other police personnel do every day.
We especially want to thank the many police personnel who will be working on Labour Day so everyone can enjoy the holiday honouring working Canadians in a safe manner.
2022 Ride to Remember

Over the past 20 years, the Canadian Police Memorial Ride to Remember has grown to include approximately 180 police and peace officer cyclists from 15 law enforcement agencies who ride 700 km from the Ontario Police College to the Ontario Police Memorial in Toronto and then to the National Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial in Ottawa to pay tribute to the fallen police and peace officers who have been killed in the performance of their duties.

The Association of Black Law Enforcers (A.B.L.E.) is hosting its 30th Anniversary Scholarship and Awards Gala on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at the Pearson Convention Centre, 2638 Steeles Avenue East, Brampton, ON. This year’s theme is “30 years of Advocacy and Action”.
