On October 9, 2023, the OACP issued a statement addressing the escalation of violence in the Middle East, which has caused incredible injury and death and devastated entire communities.
Since the outbreak of recent violence, police services across our province have been actively supporting all communities during these challenging times. This includes enhanced outreach to community leaders and extra patrols around faith-based locations/institutions, community centres, etc.

Nothing can justify the slaughter of innocent people going about their lives.
