Indigenous Services File Human Rights Complaint

The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) is supporting the efforts of Indigenous police services, adding the voice of police leaders to growing calls from Indigenous communities for funding justice when it comes to government support for Indigenous police services. A new resolution passed by OACP members at the Annual General Meeting held on June 14 speaks directly to the unacceptable fiscal situation which Indigenous police services in our province continue to experience.

This year’s Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) 2023 Annual Conference was a huge success, with more than 300 delegates from federal, provincial, municipal, and Indigenous police services in attendance.
