The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, in partnership with the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service (NAPS), the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), Peel Regional Police (PRP), and York Regional Police (YRP), released a video outlining the outcome of Operation Northern Exposure, a four-month outreach opportunity for officers from three southern Ontario services to join NAPS officers in the northern communities of Kashechewan, Fort Albany, and Attawapiskat.

We recently introduced members to Harley, Peel Regional Police’s Electronic Storage Detection Canine Officer, via our HQ Magazine HUB website. York Regional Police’s International Hate Crime Conference

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Breaking Barriers of Hate’, which will highlight the significance of living in a diverse society and the importance of understanding hate crimes and extremism. There is an increase in public interest and media attention on hate crimes and law enforcements’ response to address these issues. Therefore, discussions on these topics will be useful to investigators and police agencies across the country.
