This Week @ Queen’s Park and Parliament Hill – November 15, 2019

  • OACP representatives have been engaged with the Government of Ontario on a number of issues, including issues involving trespass to property, animal welfare, digital evidence management, and regulations governing the Comprehensive Ontario Police Services Act.
  • The Ontario legislature provides access to all current proposed government and Private Members’ Bills here.
  • A new federal Cabinet will be sworn in on November 20, 2019. Canadian police leaders will be getting a new Minister of Public Safety. Former Minister Ralph Goodall was not re-elected.
